ANTONIO

MEDELLÍN-FAJARDO

While thinking about what to write in my bio, I caught myself trying to replicate what a lot of composers do—listing achievements and academic history like it’s a checklist.
But I’m not like that. That’s not how I work.

For me, it’s never been about fitting in—it’s about connecting, about building something that resonates.

I find certainty through music. That’s where everything begins.
It’s how I think, how I feel, and how I help tell stories.

Every project is a conversation, and I love shaping sound alongside the people who bring those stories to life—finding that one moment where everything just feels right.

Not just something that works—something that moves.
Let’s create stories with music that’s bold, original, and built to make people dream big.

My name is Antonio Medellín-Fajardo, and this is who I am.

Composer

“Music is the mediator between the spiritual and the sensual life.”

Ludwig van Beethoven

Orchestrator

“Orchestration is part of the very soul of the work; certain tone-colors are inseparable from it in the mind of its creator from the hour of its birth.”

Nikolai Rimsky-Korsakov

Arranger

“Stan Kenton stands before a hundred reeds and brass… every studio arranger knows how it’s done; Duke Ellington lifts his little finger, three horns make a sound—and nobody knows what it is.”

André Previn

Producer

“If you had a sign above every studio door saying ‘This Studio is a Musical Instrument,’ it would make such a different approach to recording.”

Brian Eno

Copyist

“If I don’t practice for one day, I know it; if I miss two days, my friends know it; and if I miss three days, the whole world knows it.”

Ignacy Jan Paderewski
